Design consultation and brief

An initial consultation will be arranged where you will discuss what you want to get from your outdoor space along with styles and looks which interest you. A design brief will then be drawn up to outline the aims and objectives of the design.

Site Analysis

A detailed site analysis will be undertaken to enable the designer to make the most of your space. It will identify key points such as soil type as well as giving an existing layout plan.

 

 

Concept and direction

A concept will be created which reflects the aesthetic direction the garden is going to take. This is a key part of the design process and will be the basis of the entire design. It will set out not just how the space will look but how it will feel as well.

 

 

Master plan

This will be the actual plan of how your new garden will look. This plan will show the overall layout of the space. It will identify what hard materials are going to be used and will show key areas of planting.

 

 

Planting Direction

On large scale projects a planting concept sheet may be produced. This will show how the planting is going to work in the space and will be used in conjunction with the site analysis to decide exactly what plants are going to be used.

 

 

Planting plan

A detailed plan will be produced to show exactly what plants are going to be used and where. This will be researched and created so that every plant will thrive in its specific location and enhance the overall feel and concept of the entire space.

 

 

Construction detailing

Where necessary detailed plans will be produced ensuring that design features are correctly built and installed.

 

 

Project managing

A project managing service can be included into the design service to ensure that your outdoor space is created to the best standards and will leave you completely satisfied with your new garden. All you need to do is sit back and watch your beautiful and unique space created for you.
